In the United States, 1 our of 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime.
Prostate cancer is an abnormal growth of cells in the prostate, a glad found only in men. The prostate is located inside the body, at the base of the penis.
African-American men are at especially high risk for prostate cancer; they are 65% more likely to develop this disease than non-Hispanic white men.
